Beautiful central location at a sunset beach. Excellent for swedes, as it seems they are the majority population here.
Friendly and available reception staff, but a bit unfriendly people at breakfast service.
Great thing is that there is steamed vegetable with fish or meat option on the restaurant menu.
The hotel is a bit dated, but undergoing renovations and the price matches the quality.
For booking in the big building, keep in mind that there is no elevator.
Great value for money. Lanta Sea House is located right on the seafront. The property also has a pleasant, clean swimming pool with sun loungers. The rooms are okay; they're not the newest, but they're neat and clean, and the beds are large and comfortable. The air conditioning works perfectly. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Yes, many kids at the pool but I have no problem, I can read and nap
If you don't like being around tons of families having a good time, this is not the place for you. There were over a dozen splashing, screaming and giggling kids in the pool/main area all day, every day. They said the property is always filled with families.
We had a 2nd story main building room. The room is comfortable, firmer bed with a shower that stays real hot. The staff is fantastic here. The restaurant is reasonably priced and the food was really good. We ate there several times. The area has many restaurants/bars around it. Besides the noice level, which is out of their control, great property!
We stayed at Sea House for 4 nights at the end of October. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and looked after. We have a 10 month old daughter and the hotel staff were wonderful with her. We stayed in a two bed connecting room right on the beach. It was stunning, with a fabulous deck and sea view. The hotel is perfect for families, there is a great pool, it’s right on the beach and it is spotless. They have really good coffee too! I can’t say enough good things, it was the best place we stayed on Lanta. Thank you sea house for a memorable stay! ❤️
