Nirvana Beach Resort And Spa

We had a very bad experience at Hotel Nirvâna. In the middle of the night, a rodent entered our room. When we informed the staff, they initially laughed at us and did not believe us. After insisting, they finally came to the room and saw it with their own eyes.

They were unable to remove the rodent and claimed they had no replacement room available. Instead of offering a proper solution, they simply told us to sleep in the room with it. Obviously, this was unacceptable.

At 2 a.m., we decided to leave and book another hotel.

Since November 2025, we have still been waiting for our refund. The manager keeps giving us the same excuse every time — that the payment method does not work — even though I have provided multiple valid banking options.

I strongly do not recommend this hotel. The management is dishonest and completely unprofessional.

Nirvana Beach Resort was our favourite stay during our trip through Thailand.

We stayed four nights in the 1 Bedroom Beachfront Pool Villa with Jacuzzi, and it exceeded our expectations. The villa layout is beautiful — private patio and pool downstairs with outdoor bathroom and shower, and a lovely bedroom upstairs with a private ensuite and ocean view. Waking up to that view was special every day.

The resort was very responsive even before arrival and arranged a transfer from Krabi on short notice. The 3,000 THB felt fair considering the comfort of the vehicle and the included ferry ticket. It made the journey completely stress-free.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Their English was surprisingly strong for southern Thailand, and we felt that they genuinely cared about personal service. The spa experience was wonderful — we booked a couples massage and were very impressed with the professionalism.

The gym is small but functional, and the complimentary paddle boards are a great addition at the beach.

Prices are on the higher end, including the restaurant, which is good but relatively expensive. We recommend exploring nearby restaurants along Klong Nin Beach for more variety. Room service is efficient and convenient.

Overall, this place feels exclusive and peaceful. It is not cheap, but for us it was absolutely worth it. We would 100% return.

Pros:
The property is very beautiful and full of charm.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always helpful.
The overall atmosphere of the resort is lovely.

Cons:
Unfortunately, our stay was very noisy, especially at night. We specifically chose this resort because we were looking for peace and quiet, which made the situation particularly disappointing.

The air conditioning unit from the apartment above us was extremely loud, even with the windows closed.
Because of the constant noise, it was impossible to sleep. We informed reception, but unfortunately no solution could be offered.
To be fair, this seemed to be an issue specific to that unit — other apartments did not appear to have the same noise problem.

Some parts of the property are a bit outdated and could use renovation.

Stayed here for two weeks. Very nice and helpful staff. See some people complaining about maintenance, you are in Thailand don't expect too much. Price/quality is perfect.. Loved the animals on the resort and especially the peacefulness of the garden and quiet nights. And the breakfast is awesome. Definitely recommended for couples and people who want to relax!

We made a last minute booking for 5 nights for New Year’s Eve 2025 and it was the best decision we made! We were received very warmly by all the staff and especially the manager Pomb who was very kind of thoughtful and made our stay truly special.
The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean, ours had a lovely terrace and jacuzzi and sunset views from the bed. The entire resort and pool area is fantastic, peaceful, enjoyable and relaxing. The staff is so attentive, the restaurant is perched high with beautiful views, the spa was great for a relaxing massage and the beach felt as though it were Nirvana’s private own beach.
I have been coming to Lanta and Thailand for many years and would highly recommend it to my Phuket and Bangkok friends as anyone else. A must visit when in Thailand!
