About Krabi and Ao Nang

Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.

Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

We only stayed one night as we got it as a last minute extension of our stay in Ao nang, so we likely had it cheaper, but we were so happy there! The pool area is lovely and peaceful, you can order cocktails from the restaurant, we had their breakfast which was lovely, lunch (pad Thai was a bit average). The pool is shining in the evening and you can still swim till around 8:30 I think. The grass is perfectly maintained, there is koi fish in the restaurant, rooms are comfortable, nothing fancy but totally sufficient and clean. Location wise, it's best to either rent a bike from the hotel or to use their shuttle service to Ao nang beach, it goes I think 5 times per day or so (but not sure) otherwise there is not much around, only a lovely simple restaurant with divine food (Patty Thai food up the road), we recommend this hotel for a peaceful pool getaway:)

Worst experience of my travelling journey since 10 years. Really disappointing staff behaviour.
Once you pay money then nobody will listen problems. One tall old lady talks so much rubbish like she owns you. If you not book cab or scooty from them they become very arrogant and reply harshly even on simple doubts.

Recommendations:

1. Don’t book stay in jungle resort. Place is beautiful but full of unethical staff.
2. Even if you booked mistakenly please check entire room first even minor things and change room instantly otherwise you regret.
3. Don’t ask for outside things like food, cab from outside and not from them than they will angry.
4. Don’t argue much as you are foreigner and there entire staff become goons like block the way with there car and shout loud.

Well they are the only one rest Thai people very sweet and I personally like this country.

Not sure why this gets bad reviews, it is an amazing resort and they have thought of everything. They have regular free transfers to/from Ao Nang beach and it’s good not to stay in the middle of all of that. The rooms are high-quality huts and the resort asks guests to be quiet after 10pm. Food is good. Pool is big enough to swim some decent lengths. Children have to be careful but that is the same when walking on the street. It’s a beautiful resort in a beautiful setting.

Gorgeous rooms, a little way out of the main tourist area. Quiet and beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend if you want to be within a 10 minute taxi ride of Ao Nang beach but without all the people!
We had a condo over looking the pool in the Jungle Mansions. It is beautifully maintained, peaceful and very relaxing.
The staff here are wonderful. Breakfast is delicious and they will take you to and from the main strip during certain times. Taxis from town cost about £2 so its really easy to get around.

Really enjoyed our stay here. We were in a villa, and there was so much room & it was very clean and tidy. The grounds were very well maintained and the pool was spotless. People working there were very nice & helpful. Sad we have to leave, would have liked to stay longer! 10/10 would recommend. Do not pay attention to the bad reviews. It was one of the nicest places we stayed in SEA. The location is a few kms away from the beach but they offer free shuttles multiple times a day ! We also were able to get a grab or bolt when needed. They have 3 pools in total & all very well maintained.
