About Krabi and Koh Lanta
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Koh Lanta sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

The pool front rooms and nearby beach make for a wonderful place to spend lazy mornings, and afternoons in, in the water. The tide will fall and swell, leaving hundreds of feet of new beach exposed, making for an amazing walk with lots for crabs to see.
Food and bar is what you would expect, almost passable, but not good. Location right by walking street have amazing options, and easy cab access, which mostly makes up for it.
Rooms a underwhelming for the price, AC is almost strong enough, beds are a but too firm but passable, not great. Recommend to stay in pool walk our rooms if you get find a good price.
Located right at the beach, you will find Lanta Pura Beach Resort. When you check-in, you are greeted by very friendly staff who offers you a welcome drink.
The rooms and hotel are honestly a bit outdated, but it is still fine. The room is spacious and beautiful though. The views from the room are nice too.
The housekeeping staff only kept on opening the door even though we told them no housekeeping was needed, it was a bit weird and offensive.
Apart from this, can really recommend!
A good hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast excellent. Clean rooms with good a/c and wifi. Fridge and water heater for free tea/coffee. Nice beach at ebbe tide - low tide nice walkable.
Busy hotel by Scandinavian, German and French chartertourist. As always in these hotels mant guests occupy sunbeds before using them and before breakfast. That is inpolite.
Good place to stay.. I read some of the other negative reviews and was Abit worried before arrival, sure the AC is slightly noicy and the hotel is not in newly renovated. But I think the condition is what you can expect from a three star hotel i Thailand. Rooms are actually great, I slept perfectly during my stay. Breakfast was better then expected. Pool is large and have one part for exercise, one general area and one small child area. I don't have that much to complain about.
15/01/2026 08:59Great setting, with frangipani and palm trees facing the sea.
Clean beach with sand bar and turquoise water. The staff are also so kind and friendly. Perfect location for tours and walking street/night market.
The staff work hard to keep it cleaned and maintained. I don't understand the negative reviews. If you travel a lot in Thailand you'll realise this is a really nice place to stay.
