About Krabi and Ao Nang

Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.

Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

A nice hotel on the cliffside, located on a side road of the Muslim street. The best part is that is located far from the noisy street but this may be an inconvenient for some because the road leading to the hotel is sloped. Keep in mind that the hotel provides transfer to and from Ao Nang center.

The rooms were great, nicely decorated and spacious but there was a small issue. The sound proof was not so great as you can hear the surrounding rooms, if someone speaks to loud. Also for some, the morning prayers from the nearby mosque may be too loud.

The pools were nice and very accessible.

The staff was very professional and nice, they provided us with good airport transfer and also on the go breakfast.

The restaurant was ok, breakfast is good and the rest of the menu consist on thay and various european food.

I am super happy with this hotel for its restaurant. The food was awesome, at a very good price and super tasty. The views of the hotel very panoramic, the swimming pool in the terrace floor also great, suitable for long swims, peaceful, the staff very friendly. I enjoy my stay here 100%.
I highly recommend the restaurant. It’s surprisingly good.

After reading reviews, I came to this hotel a quite skeptical. Especially realizing after booking that they do not serve alcohol at this hotel (you can still bring alcohol in and drink at the pool so this was not an issue just an FYI for others booking).

The hotel itself is gorgeous. The landscape and pools were great, the bed was comfortable, the ac worked well, the fruity drinks were good but there was quite a few negatives that would make us not choose to stay here again.

-The breakfast was not good..do not get lunch or dinner here.
-The shower does not get hot.
-The walls are paper thin. We could here the couple next to us word for word laughing, screaming, and blasting music. We aren't light sleepers but this was annoying.
-They did not clean the rooms well. Towels were not replaced and sand was not cleaned off the floor or the shower. This was quite frustrating to come back to after a long day of being out doing excursions.

This hotel has a lot of potential as it it tucked away from the hustle & bustle but needs improvement.

We loved this hotel! The two pools were both so beautiful. One high up with a beautiful view of the mountains and the other surrounded by many beautiful plants. The room was amazing with a large balcony and the bed facing the mountains. It is also walking distance to everything you need to get to. The staff was very kind and helpful! We enjoyed the buffet breakfast as well.

Stayed for four nights, rooms are big and spacious, the air conditioner wasn’t good even though we put on lowest temperature.
Liked the refill on water every day, big coffee cups. Got a present for Christmas time which was very nice.
The location is on Muslim street woke up from sounds of prayers on speakers at 4am.
Breakfast is okay, have many options including egg stand.
Pool is nice would have been nice some music for atmosphere otherwise feels very quiet , too quiet.
Hotel staff very nice
