About Krabi and Krabi province

Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Krabi province sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.

Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

Both the place and the stuff is excellent. The bungallows next to the pool and also with seaview are spectacular, as it is next to the beach I am sure that without pool connection it can be also a great decision. Very calm, no noise at all with privat rockless sandy beach. We cancelled the calmest place Kho Lanta to stay here longer.

Worse hotel ever in Krabi, Thailand. I've booked and paid for my stay but the hotel was saying no booking, so I decided to call Agoda, turn on the speaker in front of them, the Agoda staff said the booking was confirmed! I have all proofs Bank transaction, confirmation number but still wouldn't let us stay. They're not going to be responsible for whatsoever. This incident happened at night so I had to go looking for a hotel during the high season which is pretty hard to find and all prices are high. Honestly it was a very terrible experience.

Check in and general welcome not really compatible with a resort of this expensive/ rating.
In the hotel I visited next in Krabi town the cleaners spoke more English than the reception staff here!
Onsite restaurant not currently in operation.
No resort information provided on arrival.
Nearest place to eat 5 minutes walk along the street but quite expensive compared to other places in the area.
To get an additional room key card it cost THB 300 (non-refundable).
No transportation to closest restaurant/ town area but walkable in around 20 minutes. Grab ‘works’ but no-one to take the job for short rides.
From the road to reception is very steep slope which is the same down to the beach front rooms.
Small pool in front of several bungalow units with no pool chairs and on a strange concrete platform.
Nowhere to hang clothes apart from one clothes hanger.
Nowhere to hang anything in the bathroom.
No room safe.
No indication for do not disturb/make up room.
WiFi poor.
Water pressure and hot water is good.
Good blackout curtains and comfortable beds.
To get to the beach you have to limbo dance under barbed wire! On one day I did see tourist police on the beach near the barbed wire so not sure if they will say anything to the owners. (I mean why not just put a gate?).
Beach quality not great but nice during high tide.
Nice and peaceful in the evenings.
Beach is good for a long and quiet relaxing walk.
Could be a nice resort if they could fix the issues.

Amazing little resort. Right on the water front and away from all the bars and parties. There are a few nice local restaurants and bars within a 10-15 min walk. Or you can rent a motorbike for 300 baht and cruise all over town. Very nice rooms and pool as well and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. Cant wait to come back. The beach to this hotel was one of my favorite from my trip through Thailand.

The location is absolutely serene - the distance to restaurants and shop is significant, but maybe also part of the charm. The pool is big, warm and never felt crowded. Overall, we had a very chill stay, despite many of the shortcomings mentioned in other reviews.

The staff generally did their best to keep the place running and were helpful with arranging rides from the airport, to Ao Nang, and onwards to our next destination at reasonable prices. Scooter rental was also easy and fairly priced. That said, on a few occasions the front desk was staffed by kids/teens who seemed more interested in playing on their phones than actually assisting guests.

Most of the points raised in previous reviews are true. The place feels poorly designed and cheaply built and, more than anything, it really needs a skilled manager to fix all the small “bugs” and inconveniences - because the potential here is actually huge.
Also worth noting: the on-site “restaurant” was closed every evening during our stay, so don’t plan on eating there for now.
