About Krabi and Koh Lanta
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Koh Lanta sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

It's a lovely and.modern small resort. Staff are very helpful and the bungalows are nicely designed, you can tell that someone put lots of effort into all the little quirky details that were carefully thought of. Pool is also lovely and clean and the resort is very family friendly, but still quite and relaxed. Good.location, not far from many reasonably priced beach restaurants and some.more on the main road, but the beach itself is rocky with only small swimable area. We liked the breakfast idea with a smaller buffet, but lots to order on request, including fresh rotti station. Eventhough the whole place looks immaculately clean, we stayed in the pool villa which on its own was very nice with a big pool, unfortunately the doors had gaps. We tried to block these with towels, but we were still getting bugs and cockroaches in the rooms and bathroom, which for the price is not acceptable. It didn't help that dishes from room service were not cleared until I carried them back to the kitchen myself the next day. Our rooms were not made/cleaned on 2 occasions eventhough we changed the sign outside of the door, they just left some water and toilet paper outside. So overall we had a good stay, there are some points where they really excel but some things can be improved.
09/12/2025 11:39Wonderful resort with great people and service. Great location right by the beach although somewhat distant from the restaurants and bars in Sala Dan. We rented a scooter to resolve that issue which is a lot more cost effective that tuk tuk or other means of taxi.
The breakfast served were super nice.
The staff were incredibly helpful and fiendly and the rooms/villas were really nice. Highly recommended place.
We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The place is lovely, with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated.
The pool offers a stunning view of the ocean, and there are plenty of seating areas where you can relax and enjoy the scenery. The sunsets are absolutely breathtaking.
One night, they hosted a fire show with a DJ, which was a nice experience. We also rented a scooter directly from the property at the same price you’d find on the street, which was very convenient.
Everything about our stay was excellent. The food was truly fantastic and easily some of the best we had on Koh Lanta. The apartment was spotless, very comfortable, and clearly maintained with great care. We also loved the beachfront loungers, which were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
What really made the stay special was the service. Every member of the staff was consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
The calm atmosphere, combined with the high standards and hospitality, made our time here unforgettable. We would gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend Lanta Casa Blanca to anyone visiting Koh Lanta.
Best service, beautiful setup in room and pool. We enjoy quiet beach, small places, few people. Relax Bay provided that for us. Most people might want a quiet beach with more choices like Klong Kong or Long Beach for northern beaches, most in the south. But this one is my favorite because we are weird. If you do stay in Relax Bay, Lanta Casa Blanca should be your best and only option. It might be too posh for some who are looking for beach bungalows etc., but it was perfect for us.
