About Krabi and Koh Lanta
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Koh Lanta sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

A beautiful paradise. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, look no further. The grounds are immaculately maintained with a beautiful lush garden as the focal point of the property. Relax by the pool, step directly out onto the beach, enjoy the delicious breakfast and wake up to the sounds of birds. We only stayed here one night but truly loved the property. Simply stunning!
18/02/2026 13:35This place is stunning, classy, meticulously maintained and an absolute gem of a hotel. Just walking around the gardens alone and the aesthetic charm of it all was worth it. They exceeded my expectations on every level and they pay attention to every detail.
It's small with limited occupancy which means you'll find yourself with plenty of places to be in silence and there are always lounge chairs and amenities for all guests. Our rooms were immaculate with high quality bedding and furniture and well working air conditioning and fridge.
Of the staff, I have to mention one person in particular.. Natasha (at least this was the name on her name badge we hope we read it right!). She is an absolute professional and so good at her job. The right mix of discreet, helpful and charming.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I made my reservation months in advance when it was low season. It was EXTREMELY difficult to get hold of the hotel to make changes to my reservation and even then there would be days between messages. They do not seem to answer emails in low season. Keep this in mind! I should have given it 4 stars but I don't think it's fair considering how much I enjoyed the hotel once I got there. Note to owners of this hotel.. you should really be attentive to reservations all year round.
Simply amazing! I have seen many hotels, but the passion & effort that went into designing and maintaining this little oasis is just breathtaking! You have all amenities you need on site and yet the hustle & bustle of Koh Lanta is just around the corner.
20/11/2025 13:11First & foremost, the resort is absolutely stunning!
Every area is beautifully decorated, colorful, the grounds are full with plants & trees, & the direct sea view is gorgeous.
We were upgraded upon arrival for 2 nights in the beach front delux villa, & breakfast included to our entire 4 nights stay.
The delux beach front villa is spacious, tastefully designed, very comfortable & with a lovely balcony.
The sea view villa (the room we originally booked) is slightly smaller, & felt a bit older, but was also spacious & comfortable, with a large deck facing a lawn & the sea. It's right next to the swimming pool & the restaurant, though separated from them, so it felt somewhat less private.
I prefered the 1st room & my partner prefered the 2nd, but both were great.
There is also a nice pool & a large sitting area with sunbeds, hammocks, & beanbags viewing the beach - the perfect sunset watching spot!
Breakfast was excellent, combining made to order dishes & a small buffet.
Service was remarkably attentive, caring, kind & friendly.
The entire resort is carefully maintained & spotless, & though it seemed to be full - didn't feel crowded at all.
Location is perfect - at the southern & more quiet end of Klong Khong beach, which feels more like a private beach, but within a 5-10 minutes walk from various restaurants, 7/11, the main road, & everything you may need.
All in all a top stay, with high VFM. I highly recommend Baan Thai & hope to return!
Spent 5 nights here and I think it was the best hotel that we stayed at (and we stayed at 5* hotels for the entire holiday). Amazingly kept grounds and gardens (I really cannot stress how immaculate it is), really friendly staff, good food, good prices (for a hotel), inexpensive laundry service, excellent location right on the beach. Highly recommend.
