About Krabi and Ao Nang
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Longboats hire only 50m away. The pool view room we had was excellent. Clean, nice bed and pillows. Aircon worked well. Large spacious pool and bar service on hand. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Noise not unexpected given it's right in the centre of activity. Buffet breakfast was ok but would have loved more variety and change in offering.
15/01/2026 20:37The rooms were nothing special and could definitely use a facelift—honestly, the whole resort would benefit from some renovation. That said, the pool area was very nice. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and professional, which really stood out. The location is excellent, and the breakfast was decent. Overall, it’s neither the best nor the worst place to stay in Ao Nang, but a solid option thanks to the great service and location.
05/01/2026 02:18The staff were genuinely outstanding. Throughout our stay, they were extremely helpful, friendly, and hardworking. The level of service was excellent, and the team did everything possible to ensure guests felt comfortable.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the hotel itself. Booking lists the property as a four-star hotel, but this information appears to be incorrect. The hotel is actually rated three stars, which can also be verified on Google, and the overall condition and experience reflect that level. The building looks poorly maintained. Strong food odors from nearby restaurants entered the room from outside, and loud music from surrounding venues was clearly audible inside. Sound and air insulation were inadequate, making it very difficult to rest, especially with nightclub noise continuing until around 3 a.m.
The hotel clearly needs a thorough renovation. The bathroom felt outdated, with the bathtub separated by a plastic shower curtain that did not meet hotel standards and felt more like student housing. The view was also disappointing, as we had to look at rooftops and ongoing chimney maintenance. In addition, although the building has only three floors, there is no elevator, so guests must use the stairs at all times.
Despite all of this, I initially did not want to leave a negative review. However, the representative who contacted us via Booking sent repeated messages regarding a delay of less than one hour, creating unnecessary pressure. This approach and attitude caused our vacation to end on a disappointing note. For this reason, I decided to share this experience and leave a negative review.
Room was OK but it was very dark with literally no views. Breakfast was very good with buffet options changing daily. The staff was OK but apart from the restaurant there was no much interactions.
I got a vibe that the hotel wants to take money from me on anything. Penalty for towels, smoking, a detailed pricelist for damaging items and so on...this felt cheap.
The location is good but then again it's a tourist place so it's very muchy and expensive area. This made a noise level in the room very high at night making sleep difficult.
Nice hotel. The swimming pool is great. I would have liked to have it open until 8 or 9 pm. The employees are so kind and helpful. The breakfast is good with a lot of choices. It is a nice quiet place very well located.
