About Krabi and Krabi province

Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Krabi province sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.

Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

Very disappointing value for money. After some researches, Nearby hotels offered much better amenities for half the price.

Several listed amenities were missing (kettle, hair dryer, safety box). A kettle was brought on request but without cups. Valuables had to be left at reception.

The room was extremely hot (metal roof, no shade). The fan was not working and was changed on request, but the temperature still reached 43°C.

Only two usable sun loungers, as the others were broken. Facilities are poorly maintained.

No water after returning from the beach; it took over 24 hours to have running water again. Breakfast lacked variety.

Staff was friendly, and the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced.

High points for this hotel. Choose the bungalows with seaview or partial seaview, those are the best with astonishing views. Great food and restaurant. Low prices but you probably wont get fridge or AC on the room. Watch out for german and swedish families with screaming small kids, they seems to have this resort as a favorite option, otherwise perfect place to stay

If you like staying in wooden bungalows, you will love staying here! The ones that oversee the coast are conviently placed so that each offers a lot of discreecy. Spending an evening on a terrace is as pleasant as spending it on a beach and the resort restaurant food is very tasty and reasonably priced.
I stayed for a week and loved my every day here.

Loved this place and our beach front traditional Thai bungalow, which was situated on a rocky hill. Amazing views both day and night.

Transport was already arranged from our last stop on the Sriboya island so we had a taxi waiting at the port to take us to the hotel, which was no longer than 10 mins.

A memener of staff was there to greet at the gate and took our luggage up the steep hill.

They then took us to reception where we were greeted by a few other members of female staff who gave us a refreshing (and rather lovely) cold drink, whilst we checked in.

Bungalow was clean bright and very spacious balcony was amazing.

Location was great with amenities restaurants and bars all within walking distance. We did hire a scooter as we like to see as much as we can whilst visiting places.
Not suitable for those with walking difficulties as there are LOTS of steps around the complex).

We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Where do I begin…
Overall, these are super cute little bungalows, perfect for people who don’t need much luxury and are just looking for a simple, affordable place to stay!

The bungalows themselves are charming but definitely quite rustic. Unfortunately, the breakfast was both overpriced and disappointing. There are much better (and cheaper) options around. The orange juice tasted artificial, the toast wasn’t even toasted, and overall it just didn’t feel worth it.

On the bright side, the restaurant serves some of the best food on the entire island! The dishes were super authentic and tasted amazing, absolutely worth a visit.

Now to the service… it was honestly frustrating. Almost everyone there spoke good English, except for the one person who ended up serving us every time. She didn’t understand a single word, and even when we pointed at the pictures on the menu, she still got about half of our order wrong. She couldn’t communicate at all, and of course, didn’t realize when something was incorrect. Everyone was very friendly and kind, but that language barrier really brought down what could have been an excellent experience.

They really need to work on that, because otherwise, this place could easily be perfect!
