About Krabi and Ao Nang

Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.

Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

Very disappointing stay. The hotel did not meet expectations at all. Service was slow and staff was not very helpful when needed. Hospitality felt average and not welcoming.

Room condition was not up to the mark considering the price we paid. Cleanliness also needs serious improvement. Overall, it did not feel like a comfortable or relaxing stay.

Biggest issue was food — there is no proper Indian food available, and even breakfast options were very limited for Indian guests. This made our stay inconvenient.

Would not recommend this hotel, especially for Indian families looking for comfort and good food options.⭐️ 0 out of 5

The hotel was not extraordinary, but it served its purpose for the price paid. The pools are nice, and the girls at the pool bar are amazing — very helpful and always cheerful, which definitely made the stay more enjoyable.

The housekeeping staff speak limited English, but they were kind and pleasant. The issues are not with the staff, but more with the hotel management and overall standards.

On the downside, the hotel lacks some basic things. The fridge in the room was not restocked, and when ordering room service, the beers were not chilled. The hotel also has a slight smell in certain areas, which is noticeable. The sun beds are limited, and many guests reserve them early in the morning, so you really have to be on your toes if you want to get one.

It is also very noisy. You can clearly hear people in the next room as well as people talking while walking down the hallway, which made it difficult to properly relax.

The service at the main bar was disappointing. There was a “2 beers for 1” offer available, but it was not mentioned to me until I specifically asked about it.

On the positive side, the breakfast is fabulous with plenty of options to choose from.

There are plenty of other hotels in the area offering similar prices, and unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not choose to stay here again.

Loved everything: super clean and comfy room, breakfast was so delicious, pool and loungers perfect for our non beach days, great walkable location! Loved all the staff, although I don’t recall their names, the lady who checked us in for breakfast and the one making our omelets were both so pleasant and happy. But especially loved Pa! Pa always greeted us with a warm smile and Thai bow at breakfast, at the pool, or where ever we saw him. You are very fortunate to have someone as kind and genuine as Pa at your establishment!

Very quiet and spacious hotel with a really relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast had a good variety, the pools were nice, and the rooftop was absolutely awesome. Location is perfect — just a 2-minute walk from the beach. Sounds like a dream? It really is a dream hotel.

I would like to highly commend Maya for her outstanding performance as a receptionist.

Maya consistently demonstrates exceptional professionalism, reliability, and a genuinely positive attitude. She creates an excellent first impression for all guests and handles every interaction with confidence, courtesy, and efficiency. Even in challenging situations, she remains calm, solution-oriented, and highly professional.

She regularly goes above and beyond her core responsibilities, shows great initiative, and is a supportive, dependable team member. Her contribution has a clear and positive impact on both guest satisfaction and the overall working environment.

Maya is a valuable asset to the organization, and her performance strongly justifies consideration for a promotion and/or salary increase. She has my highest recommendation.
