Practical tips
- Visit slightly before standard lunch or dinner peaks to avoid queues.

About Krabi and Ao Nang
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

We got pad tai and a rice soup with chicken. The portion sizes are pretty big and the prices are fair. The rice soup can be easily shared by 2 people, it was too big for me. 4/5 stars for food because the pad thai was way too sweet. I know that it has sugar in it but it was the sweetest we had in Thailand. It almost felt like a dessert but maybe many people like it this way. After 19:00 a queue started building up, there were around 8 people waiting for a table. Our waiter was friendly and polite.
10/01/2026 17:18Nice place with good Thai food. Nothing super special, but everything we ordered was tasty. We had tom yum, pineapple red curry, papaya salad, and spring rolls, and all were good. Quick service, clean space, pleasant atmosphere, and genuinely attentive staff.
03/01/2026 23:11We went once to the restaurant 11/1 Thaifood & Cocktails (Nakhon Si Thammarat). The food was really, really good. It wasn’t as spicy as in some other places, but it was absolutely delicious. The staff is super friendly, the service is good and attentive. The prices are around 150 to 200 Baht per dish—so a bit more expensive than other places, but really top-notch. From 7:00, 7:30 p.m. onwards, you should expect a wait. They have some seats outside in front of the restaurant, where you can wait, and they even bring you drinks while you wait. We would definitely go back!
02/03/2026 16:50We’d like to thank the welcoming team at 11/1 Restaurant for such a lovely evening. The place is absolutely worth the wait — we happily sat outside with cocktails while waiting for our table, and it was part of the experience.
The Tom Yum was delicious, and the Pad Thai was truly incredible — full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Everything tasted fresh and authentic.
If you’re planning to eat in Krabi, we highly recommend this spot. Definitely worth visiting!
Genuinely the most amazing Thai food I have ever had. Traditional and delicious, service is fantastic, price is unbelievable. Often has a wait for a table but turn around is fast and it’s definitely worth the wait. We had vegetable spring rolls, beef penang with steamed rice and chicken pad thai. Highly recommend.
